On the Scan to Computer More Info button, I saw that it needed a unique name for your computer. I checked the new computer and saw that it had no name at all (found under the Sharing icon in System Preferences). Once I gave it a new name, I restarted the HP Utility software and selected scan and it instantly said 'Scan to Computer is Enabled' with the green button lit.

I would suggest you to uninstall and re-install the drivers and check if it helps for you.

Also run the program in compatible mode and check

2. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7/8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.
